"Don't wish upon a star.... reach for one!"

In Saluki company, the name Burydown is world-recognised as Hope Waters' legacy to the foundations of many kennels worldwide. When a mutated smooth Saluki was born to feathered parents fifty years into the existence of Burydown, it caused a stir worldwide. MBISS Ch. (Can) Burydown Hilerica Ulahni (Lahni) produced the much-observed "V-litter" in 2001, from which we were proud to welcome Burydown Vancouver (Couver), a BISS winner and 2009 Hill's/Showdogs Veteran of the Year. Two years later, Lahni's "W-litter" produced Roberta Parish's Ch. (Can) Burydown Winterhaefen (Tux), Farrah's sire - a magnificent black and white dog, very successful in the show ring in Canada.

Tux's marriage with Ch. Canapus Galadriel [Imp. Holland] (Elle) brought an exciting blend of many world-renowned Saluki kennels: Samoems, Timaru, Lorrequer, Hadi el Basher, Shelby and Elana, amongst others. We honour these dedicated breeders and value the significant legacy of remarkable dogs that stand behind young Farrah.

Farrah is already betrothed to her cousin, BIS Ch. Fleetwind Wizard's Charm (Wizard), a union in which there is already great interest from Saluki enthusiasts in far-flung places. In the meantime, however, she will grow up in her adoring family and, hopefully, prove her mettle very successfully in the show ring soon.
