The Senator was certainly worth the four year wait. I decided on a Portuguese Water Dog while paging through a Dog Directory as my husband is Portuguese and thought the history of the PWD was interesting. They were originally bred to help pull fishing nets and bear messages between fishermen, swimming effortlessly from boat to boat. On land, they earned a reputation as successful rabbiters.

Senator is very energetic, happy, mischievous and loving boy. He has filled our lives with much joy and laughter.

In his show career, he has outperformed our expectations He has won BPIS, RBPIS, BJIS and RBJIS. He has been placed in many Working Groups and earned a qualification for the  Western Cape Top Puppy Competition.

I am so proud to own him. Thank you Robyn and to all the judges who have seen his potential.
