2013 is best forgotten, but it wasn't all bad….

"Ola" Minuteman Intoxicating (Imp. Can) and "Floyd" Noreg Watch Me both achieved their final CCs for championship.  In addition, "Bijou" Ch. Noreg Sting Like A B, belonging to Jackie Welch, became a champion and they are all set for 2014.

The gorgeous "Pearl" Wild Rush's Veritas turned out to be unwell over the last shows of the year, but is raring to go this year!

I was delighted when my friend, John Constantine, decided to send Pearl to me – another lovely girl in a series of great dogs from John over the past fifteen years.  The so-called generic showdog is not for me - I have always preferred solid Schnauzers with balanced conformation, correct angulation without being over-angulated, well-bodied without any slabby-ness, good reach and drive, and sound head proportions and ear carriage.  In Pearl, I have all this and treasure her exquisite quality!  She also has a charming and loving personality and I look forward to a long show career with her.

Bijou, bred by me and owned by Jackie Welch, takes on her new role in the champions class.  With Swedish breed specialist Bo Skalin's assessment of her as ‘'fantastiche!'' still ringing in her ears, we look forward to lots of fun with her in 2014.
