"It was a pleasure to judge this dog, one of the most beautiful Chows I have seen, full of quality and breed type, most attractive head with typical expression, excellent conformation, well presented coat of rich colour, moved and showed very well. I just loved him, a worthy winner of this prestigious competition." (Supreme Dog 2009) Liz Wogan (Ireland)
"This dog possessed all the qualities for correct breed type. Starting with overall good balance and proportions – head proportions are what our standard requires – a square on another square. Good bone and feet. Excellent depth of pigment. Has correct angles on both ends with a beautiful tail set that can only come about with the correct hind assembly, with a beautiful quality of coat. And his crowning glory is his attitude : which is active agile and alert " (RBIS) Desmond Murphy Liontamer-Pazzaz Chow Chows (USA) and his Group 1 from Kitty Pieterse (RSA )
"I was absolutely delighted to judge this dog, an outstanding specimen of the breed. Beautifully constructed and in full bloom, he moved around the ring as if he owned it." (Group 1) Steve Warry (Australia) followed by RBIS (Sue Shrigley Australia)
"A beautiful breed type. Full of breed characteristics. Ticked all the boxes for me. Very happy to award him Runner Up Best In Show in a quality line up." (RBIS) Kim Tosi (Australia) and his Group 1 from Michael Shoreman (Canada)
"My Group winning Chow Chow, was Reserve BIS, a dog in fantastic bloom displaying all the breed hallmarks, including that signature movement and correct hindquarters. It was a pleasure to judge him." (RBIS) Ros Bacich (Australia) - and his Group 1st from R. Rotner (Slovenia) . Also BIS at Natal Utility judge Ros Bacich
"It was an exceptional experience judging an exhibit of such a high order.. As I went over him from his head to his tail down to his feet I found exceptional depth of quality and knew that on the move he would not disappoint and he did not.. His strongest point is his movement where he swings from the hip keeping in step like the pendulum of a clock. It is a mesmerizing action to see him on the move. He is an exhibit with amazing character and when he looks at you it is like he is daring you not to place him in the top position because he has arrived and is waiting for the others to come. This exhibit was shown in immaculate condition and his coat is his crowning glory. He is a one in a million Chow I had no hesitation in awarding him Best in Specialist Show" (BISS) Julia van Rooyen Roseneath Chow Chows
