Dear Breeders, Exhibitors and Working Discipline Enthusiasts,

PLEASE NOTE: It has been brought to the attention of the Focus Group that Mrs Lesley Chalmers in no longer President of the New Zealand Kennel Club (NZKC).  This position is now held by Mr John Perfect.  The views expressed in FOCUS GROUP BULLETIN NO. 5 are therefore those of Mrs Lesley Chalmers, the former President of the NZKC.

Under cover of his letter dated 19 February 2008 to “All Clubs”, the President of KUSA provided a copy of an old document, first circulated in 2003, motivating KUSA's membership of the FCI.  Entitled The F.C.I. – Why KUSA should or should not be a member , the document is not only outdated, but also doesn't take account of the merits of Associate Membership.

Gérard Robinson consulted a number of people on arguments raised in the KUSA document and prepared a commentary based on these consultations.
