Meet
two of our Judges...
JUDGE:
MRS ANNIKA ULLTVEIT-MOE (SWEDEN)
An
international FCI All-breed judge, who has been judging
for more than 20 years. Her assignments have included
many prestigious dogshows in the world, such as FCI
World Dog Show, FCI European Dog Show, Sydney Royal,
the Asian International, and in over 30 contries worldwide.
And judge all groups and Best in Show.She has served
on several club committees, and continues to be involved
in judge's examinations for several breeds.She has
bred different breeds together with her husband, Harald,
under the prefix, Whisborne,
made up over 120 Champions, many with Group and Best
in Show wins through the years.
Whisborne Champions have been made up in USA, Canada,
Mexico, Luxembourg, Germany,
Holland, Denmark, Switzerland, Finland, Norway and
Sweden.Today she breeds English Springer Spaniels
and Lhasa Apsos with a great amount of success,
Including the no 2 Top Dog All Breeds in Sweden 2004.
JUDGE: MRS CHERYL MYERS EGERTON (CANADA)
Born
1944, Canadian, Educated in New Brunswick
I have had basenjis since 1967 and Scottish deerhounds
since 1988. I have exhibited in Canada and USA and
owner handler the first BIS Basenji in Canada in 15
years. I belong to the Basenji Club of America, Basenji
Breeders Club of Northern England, and Basenji Club
of America. My registered kennel name: Conamore. Perm
Reg'd.
I am a life member of the Canadian Kennel Club and
have played a very active role in the dog world.
I also have been on Anti Breed Specific Banning Legislation
and have addressed our Provincial Government to stop
Breed Specific banning and introduce Responsible Dog
Ownership.
First purebred dog was in 1965 which was a Samoyed,
but have always been involved with animals.
Breeder of top ranking basenjis since 1968 .Winner
on Basenji Club of America National Specialty, Baltimore,
MD 1989
Top ranking Canadian Dogs in the 60's, 70's and 80's.
I have had approximately 50 basenjis and have owned
and co owned both Canadian and American Champions
numbering a total of 15.
First licensed to judge in 1984 and approved to judge
all breeds in Canada in 1991.
Over my judging years, I have been invited to judge
in Australia, Perth and Sydney, and have judged throughout
Canada, USA, South America, Mexico, and was approved
to judge the Basenji Championship specialty in England.
As well, I have upcoming assignments in Sweden, back
to Canberra, with possible invitations to Thailand
and Tasmania.
I have judged the Basenji Club of America National
Specialty(once) and the Basenji Club of Canada twice.
