Meet the Judges...

Rick Baker (Adelaide)

Has been involved with dogs most of his life, is one of the most experienced all breeds judges in Australia having judged in many foreign countries through the world but this will be his first time in South Africa. In his main breed at present Dalmatians has produced over 20 champions. Other breeds involved in under the GEMCOURT prefix are, Labradors, Cocker Spaniels, Pointers, Setters, Griffons, Norfolk Terriers, Wire Fox Terriers, Cairn Terriers and Poms.

Ben Luxton (South Australia)

Ben has been involved in showing dogs for nearly thirty years under the OBSIDION prefix. He is a experienced breeder & handler having won many multi best in shows under international judges. This will be Ben's first time in South Africa. At present his famous Pugs are being campaigned in New Zealand, Japan, Norway and Italy with great success. He is licensed to judge Toy, Gundog, Hound & Herding groups. Professionally he is the manager of the Education Services for the Department of Environment & Heritage.

Di Cuthbert (South Australia)

As many of you will know Di has judged here on a number of occasions drawing very good entries. A Bull Terrier specialist in her own right but with a great interest in many other breeds where by she is licensed for five Groups. Once again Di has judged in many countries in Asia.

Ann Hill Graham Hill (UK)

They own the world famous prefix of Dimland which is a house hold name in Borzoi's. Ann is known as one of the top experts in the breed and has judged in other countries. Graham a specialist Hound man who is the secretary of the Welsh Kennel Club has been involved with the British Kennel Club serving on many committees he has also been involved in a number of Hound breeds including Whippets along with the Borzoi's many which were very famous winners. Graham judges the Hound Group

Michael White (England)

This is his first time visiting South Africa. Very well known in Greyhound & Whippet circles for many years, both breeds he awards CCs in along with Dachshunds, of which he has judged over 200.

Martin Philips (England)

This will be his second visit as he was here over ten years ago so all the dogs will be new to him. He is the leading light in Norfolk & Norwich Terriers in the UK with many champions, Group winners & best in Shows to his credit. Has judged extensively out side the UK at championship level in Terriers. He awards C. C.'s at present in 4 breeds which include Norwich, Norfolk, Soft Coated Wheaten & Staffordshire Terriers and is booked to award tickets in a number of other Terrier breeds in the near future along with a Terrier Group appointment. He is on the judging list for 15 other breeds in the Group

Bob Gregory (England)

One of the officers of Manchester championship show who is much sought after as a judge around the world. He awards a large number of C. C.'s in various breeds spread over the seven Groups. Bob has been here once before with many exhibitors requesting him to make a speedy return. Bob also judges best in shows in the UK & other countries.
