The
Cape Town doggy fraternity met at the V & A Waterfront
to participate in a
Dog parade, the purpose of which was to showcase the various
breeds and explain their purpose
within the seven groups (Gundogs, Herding, Hounds, Terriers,
Toys, Utility and Working).
The gathering drew a lot of attention from visitors to the
Waterfront and generous approval
for the public's favourite and "Aaaaaah cute"
breeds. A short obedience demonstration preceeded
the parade, ably presented by Doreen Powell.
