German Shepherd Dogs
Cape Town area
(19/06/08) |
Mother (4) & daughter (2). The mother is spayed and daughter will be spayed before owner emigrates. The mother has a tattoo and all her papers. The daughter is thoroughbred but was not registered. Both healthy animals and inoculated. Both reared in a family & loved by all. They do not come into contact with other dogs and don't know what a cat looks like. Looking for experienced GSD owners living on a large property who will be willing to adopt these dogs as part of their family, not as outside-living guard dogs. Will need to be kept on a veterinary balanced diet. (Eukanuba, Hills, Vets Choice) Home checks will definitely be done.

Boerboel
Port Elizabeth area
(19/06/08) |
Jemma is a 6 year old, small (33kg), spayed Boerboel bitch. She is loving and well-trained to walk on and off a leash and is fully house-trained. Whilst she has never bitten anyone, I have now got grandchildren and she has growled at them a few times and I cannot risk keeping her in case she bites a child. Ordinarily she is very docile and friendly. She is a magnificently healthy dog who I walk for 3 to 5 kms 4 or 5 days a week. She socialises well with other dogs.

They can be a little skittish when in a new situation however they quickly become comfortable.

Wire-haired Terrier
Cape Town area
(13/02/08) |
Krummel, a 7 year old spayed female wire-haired Terrier, was abandoned when her elderly owner moved into a home. Fed by neighbours, Krummel has spent the last three months alone in a back yard. An Estate agent came across Krummel's plight on the empty property and is desperately seeking a home for her. Her coat was so matted that her hair had to be shaved but her sweet nature shines through and she would bring much joy to the family who can give her a home. Home checks will be done.
