Since the introduction of this competition, more and more clubs are offering Veteran Stakes (from 38 shows in 2008, to 50 in 2009, and 59 shows in 2010), for which we are extremely thrilled and very grateful. After all, it's a win-win situation = the clubs earn additional entries and the golden oldies continue to be honoured in the ring.

Following an outstanding performance in the Veteran Stakes during 2009, Whoopi ended last year as First Runner-up to the 2009 Veteran of the Year.
During 2010, Whoopi seemed to pull out all the stops and not only took many Veteran Stakes top honours throughout the year, she also took
Group wins and placings from the Veteran class, earning her an invitation to the Supa 7 Spectacular in 2011 - a remarkable achievement for an eleven-year old!
